First “Seeking the Spirit” Service

Last Wednesday, a group of about 30 people gathered for the first service in the “Seeking the Spirit” service at our Windermere Campus.

The group gathered on the chancel in a circle, with the lights in the sanctuary dimmed, for a more intimate worship experience.

Some of the central questions of the service were where and how we encounter what’s holy, as we worshipped in this space in a new way.

We entered into prayer together, considered sacred words, and shared the sacrament of communion.

Next month on Wednesday, December 13th, Laura will lead a service centred on the figure of Mary as we celebrate the Advent season and anticipate the birth of Christ.

All are welcome. Please reach out to Laura Gallagher-Doucette with any questions.
